Jim Noe is highly experienced in the analysis, design and development and integration of gas turbines, heat transfer and control elements into successful operating systems. His career focus has been on achieving breakthrough system economics with extremely durable installations having virtually no maintenance requirements.
He is seasoned in integrating multi-element systems to work effectively within external constraints of cost, market acceptability and low maintenance. His engineering skills are particularly strong in the application of turbo-machinery and heat exchangers to industrial and aerospace systems. 1994 to present- President, Creative Energy Concepts, Inc., Calabasas, CA
· Reactivated Creative Energy Concepts as a California Corporation in order to continue with the design and development of new applications of low cost turbo-machinery and heat exchangers in various industrial and aerospace applications.
· Developed an exceptionally low emission combustion system for micro-turbines.
1993-1994 V.P. Engineering, NoMac Energy Systems, Tarzana, CA
· Served as Vice President of engineering after reorganization of NoMac with new capitalization from venture capital group. Started the design and development of a small innovative gas turbine generator set for hybrid vehicles and other applications. NoMac Energy Systems subsequently became Capstone Turbine Corporation (Nasdaq CPST) which is now in full production of the generator set.
1988-1993 President,NoMac Energy Systems, Los Angeles, CA
· Formed new company to do research and development of innovative energy concepts. Obtained exclusive rights to three master patents conceived by Robin Mackay and Jim Noe, which had been assigned to Allied Signal Aerospace. These patents were for a sub-atmospheric Brayton cycle driven heat pump, a sub-atmospheric Brayton cycle solar power generator, and an interruptible power unit. Conceived and filed for patents on a new high effectiveness recuperator concept for gas turbine engines which will significantly reduce their cost and increase their life.

· Established new company for the purpose of developing new applications of low cost turbo-machinery in various industrial and aerospace applications. Worked with many independent consultants and joint ventures with large manufacturing companies to produce products.

· Responsible for manufacturing company producing compact plate-fin heat exchangers and cold plates for electronic cooling in the aerospace and automotive industry.

· Responsible for development of advanced technology concepts in turbine and heat transfer design. Emphasis is directed towards improvements in thermal efficiency and utilization of alternate fuel sources.

· Senior Engineering Specialist. Responsible for introduction of high technology aerospace type systems into commercial and industrial markets.
· Assistant Project Engineer, Advanced Applications. Responsible for the development of advanced system design and marketing.
· Senior Systems Engineer. Acted as Program Manager for various aircraft environmental systems. These assignments include Boeing 727, General Dynamics F-i 11, LIV A7D and A7E, and Bell Helicopter AH-1G.
