Fred Burdette specialized in the mechanical design and analysis of  turbo machines and engines. His experience includes airflow, thermodynamics, heat transfer, stress analysis and blade vibration analysis. He has participated with TMS in the design of a variable area turbine that functions at temperatures of up to 2,000oF. Fred Burdette previously worked for The Garrett/AiResearch Corporation and Northrop Corporation.
